Birthday Card

Just made this card for a teen boy's 16th birthday. I think it looks pretty cool. The drum stamp is from a Close to my Heart set I bought many years ago, and the "rock n roll" banner is from the Indy Ink cart. I used red stickles on the banner to make it really flame!! It was fun to make this card.......now I'm off to make some more~

eye candy

First things first. I have always had people tell me that they find some really neat stuff at Goodwill, Salvation Army, or resale shops. On occasion, I've found some stuff too. Yesterday was one of those days........it started off pretty bad with my mammogram, but then I stumbled across these goodies at the Goodwill store.....Vintage ornaments!!!!! I remember the plastic glitter angel ornaments being on my Granny's tree. I paid 79 cents for all of the ornaments and can't wait to hang them on our tree at Christmas!!!

Next up is the best smelling candle EVER! Picked it up at Target and have been burning it all day. It really is quite peaceful, except for all the thunder & lightning that came with this morning's storm.
Drum Roll.............found these cuties at another Goodwill store on the way home yesterday! I love the turquoise blue!!!
Then I saw these & scooped them up too!!!!! The yellow is just dreamy. I can't believe how lucky I was to find them. The cashier said that they had just put them out!!!
On another good note.......I scrapbooked today. Yep, lots of positive energy around here & I was inspired to pull out some photos and play..........it was fun:-)

Ethan had his first track meet of the season on Wednesday night. He did really well and got ribbons in all of his events, even the long jump! It simply amazes me how fast he is........
