Ethan has a new nickname these days. It's "Speedy Gonzalez" after the super fast cartoon character. I knew he was a fast runner, but never realized how fast until now. He's been competing since Monday at the district track meet. Today are the finals in the running events. I'm hoping he stays calm & runs his best. He's some pics from earlier this week:
E hanging out in the bleachers with is teammates.
100m sprint.......he had a bad start, but worked hard to place 2nd.
He placed 3rd in the 200m to advance to the final.........
Tonight he'll be running in the 100m, 200m, and 4X100 relay. I just hope the wind dies down & the team does well. This has been our first experience with track , and I have to say it's been fun~
